Society calls it civility.
Feral calls it domestication.
Civility is the polished surface.
The rules, the social agreements, the rituals that bind people and allow others to share space.
But most of the time….that is not what it is.
Most of the time it is a mask glued to our faces.
It is obedience with manners.
The expectation you will suffer in silence.
Swallow your truth to make others comfortable.
Society rewards this smoothness.
Smooth conversations, behavior…..compliance.
Feral doesn’t do smooth.
Feral is honest…blunt…animal truth of the body that says:
Something is wrong. Someone is lying. I am being controlled.
I am tired of pretending.
